We have just left Kittyhawk having had the most wonderful 10 days. The location of the house makes for a fantastic holiday for a group of people. We could walk into the harbour in a matter of minutes, take the canoes and paddle over to Galleon Beach or just while away the hours on the terrace taking in the stunning view. The house is homely and well stocked with everything you need. Both Izzy and Anna were always quick to respond and were helpful with all our questions. We even joined a local gym Energie for our stay. We did choose to rent a car to do some exploring of the island but it’s not essential as there’s plenty on your doorstep. It’s a unique house and we would go back in a heart beat.
Kittyhawk is the beautiful villa overlooking English Harbour. Sitting in the pool or on the very spacious decking, gazing at the super yachts is an image I won’t easily forget. The bedrooms are well positioned and there’s plenty of space, so you never get the feeling of being on top of one another. It is perfectly located, especially if you are welcoming in Ocean Rowers (like we were) or supporting a sailing event, being so close to the action gave you a sense of community, and no matter the time of their arrival we were close by. Also, the majority of Antigua’s best restaurants and bars are within walking distance, so no real need to hire a car! Unless you want to explore the Island, which of course is well recommended. However, you will soon realise that English Harbour is the place to be. Izzy is the most amazing host. She is really responsive on email, flexible and incredibly welcoming. All of her staff are the same - the villa was cleaned regularly and the pool serviced too. Once our booking was confirmed, Izzy made our stay very easy. An airport pick up was simple to organise, and Izzy shared the contacts of a wholesale dealer, which was enormously helpful, as we had a food and drink delivery, to our door almost as soon as we arrived. If you are lucky enough to find Kittyhawk available, you should not hesitate to book. It will be a holiday you will remember for a lifetime.
Stayed for just over a week in March and the villa was absolutely perfect. We were there with a group of nine and there was always plenty of space. The beautiful photos of the villa and rooms don't show you just how wonderful Kittyhawk is - it exceeded all our expectations. Everything we needed was there in the villa and the selection of essentials on arrival was very much appreciated. The local management team was very helpful, the villa was lovely and clean and we appreciated Anna organising a taxi from the airport. We didn't need a car to get around as the local bars, restaurants and small supermarkets were all within walking distance. When we needed to go further a field the taxis were plentiful and easy to arrange. Taking the bus was also easy if going to St Johns. Galleon beach was beautiful and easy to get to by water taxi from Nelson's dockyard (a short walk from the villa) or you can also walk to Pigeon beach. Izzy helped us very much with the initial booking and was responsive even when she was flying to Antigua herself! A truly wonderful holiday and a visit I would love to make again. Will recommend Kittyhawk to everyone.
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Izzy! We absolutely loved the house and really appreciated your hospitality. We would love to return next year.

All was perfect, well organised and the house is in an incredible location, ideal for Antigua Sailing Week
Our visit to Kittyhawk was a fun, relaxing and an adventure filled experience for a family group of 9 with 2 generations. The house is well situated between English and Falmouth Harbors allowing you to walk to great restaurants, the market, and activities like SCUBA and snorkeling. The hosts and their local contact were hugely responsive and attentive. We were greeted with wine, rum and lots of toys to enjoy like kayaks and paddle boards. The bedrooms are lovely in the main house and the kitchen was well stocked allowing us to have the extras (like spices) when preparing our meals. We had 3 dinners delivered by Patsi White - as a large group this worked very well and I would highly recommend her. We had one family member in the lower bedroom and used the cottage as the Master. The only drawback was WIFI did not reach the cottage. Beaches are walkable but involve big hills. We did not opt to rent a car because of our group size we did better using the recommended taxi driver (JB) who had a van. He also handled airport pickups making the trip a breeze. If you are looking for a slice of paradise with a laid back vibe where a group of friends can gather to eat and and swim and explore, we highly recommend Kittyhawk.
